Thousands of years of history, 1100 kilometres of stunning coastline, pristine stretches of white sandy beaches, untouched coral reefs, breathtaking gorges and brilliant carpets of colourful wildflowers… we could continue on but as someone who calls this region home, you already know the array of incredible experiences and spectacular scenery that is waiting to be discovered. Australia’s Coral Coast is the not for profit organisation responsible for branding and marketing the Coral Coast as Western Australia’s top holiday destination. Our aim is to promote our beautiful region to increase awareness and encourage visitation, re-visitation and extended length of stay. We work with our members from Cervantes to Exmouth to showcase the Coral Coast and its experiences to domestic and international markets to grow tourist numbers and expenditure. Use our extensive network of Visitor Centres, the Tourism Council of WA, Tourism Western Australia, Tourism Australia and other tourism bodies to ensure the Coral Coast is marketed extensively and proactively. • Design media and trade itineraries with internationally ready products from our membership base. • Strongly engage and push the boundaries on digital marketing campaigns to be at the forefront of the tourism and travel industry. • Use our strong social media platforms to market the Coral Coast Region and promote attractions, popular activities and experiences. • Fund traditional marketing channels such as TV, Print, Radio programs to visit and cover the region • Engage with consumers, brand ambassadors and members to promote stories and highlights of the region. • Provide a resource for Coral Coast tourism operators to seek advice, improve marketing activities and grow their business.

THE STATS AND FACTS:Overnight VisitationThe Coral Coast region has performed very well for Total Overnight Visitation with spend up +6.8% and nights up +2.9%

Our market breakdown shows these figures are contributed by: Domestic - nights (+4.1%) and spend (+6.5%) International - visitors (+5.7%) and spend (+8.8 %)

Visitors by RegionInterstate - Australia’s Coral Coast (+38.7%) had the highest % increase of visitors to the region, leading Perth (+12%) as at March 2018

International - the Coral Coast is the most visited region in WA after Perth and the South West.

Conditions of membership: Membership fees valid from 01 July 2018 – 30 June 2019. Members must observe all local, state and federal statutory obligations including licences, insurances and permits. Australia’s Coral Coast reserves the right to accept/deny membership as outlined in its constitution. Any debtor whose account is overdue by 30+ days will have their membership benefits withdrawn until such time as the outstanding debt has been settled. Membership benefits are non-transferable. Marketing calendar is subject to change.
