The following are some highlights year-to-date and for the month of August. ACCOMPLISHMENTS Oregon.gov Honored as Best of Web Finalist For the second year in a row, e.Republic’s Center for Digital Government honored Oregon.gov as a finalist for their 2015 Best of the Web in the state portal category. “These winners are recognized for responsive and mobile-first design, open government, open data, improved transparency and integration with social media,” said Todd Sander, executive director of the Center for Digital Government. “Congratulations to the awardees for their impressive work to make government more accessible and responsive to citizens.” The updated Oregon.gov featured: - Improved Mobile design, creating larger easier touch targets for simplified navigation and function - Improved accessibility leveraging feedback from citizens using assistive devices - Usability enhancements on search feature - Improved maps feature performance and accessibility - Social engagement enhancement via Instagram photos shared by Oregonians using #myoregon DIY SITES IN PROGRESS Ready to start your agency’s website redesign? The following agencies are currently working to build-out their content using the DIY process: • Veteran’s Affairs • Higher Education • Forestry Coordination • Optometry • Revenue Commission SATISFACTION SCORE: 4.3 After deployment of a new service, we ask the sponsor to rate their satisfaction with the solution provided on a scale of 1-5. 1 is Poor, 5 is Excellent. NEW VISITORS (40.01%) RETURNING VISITORS (59.99%) New visitors tended to view 2.99 pages per visit and spend 2:35 on the site. The “Bounce Rate” for new visitors Is 44.68%. Returning visitors tend to view 3.47 pages per visit and spend about 3:49 minutes on the site. The “Bounce Rate” for returning visitors is 32.46%.
