(Opening Finale, God Speed Titanic and Sail on Farewell) A pianist will be present to play for you. We will check for vocal range. You can practice the audition music on YouTube! “Titanic: A New Musical – Overture, Prologue, and Launching” Audition Selection begins around 13:40 into the song. We will be casting 7 children/youth and around 15 adults (ages 15 and up). A majority of rehearsals will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings between 6:30 and 9:00. There will be an occasional Monday. Rehearsals will begin with the entire cast gathering for a read/sing thru on Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 6:30PM. A majority of rehearsals will be held on the fourth floor at the Struthers Library Theatre. Tech week begins Oct. 20. The Performance Dates are Oct. 24, 25, 26, at 7:30PM and the 27 at 2:00PM. Operas and musicals presented in concert version are performances with limited staging and no sets. The singers and the orchestra will be together on the stage rather than placing the orchestra in the orchestra pit. We will perform the entire show, including lines, for the public.
