Put the bottom half of the mould down into your ear. Press the mould piece firmly into your ear. You may need to use your other hand to stretch your ear to ease fitting. Hook the aid over the top of your ear. Ear mould hearing aids
Raise the aid to your ear as shown.Tuck the top point of the mouldinto the fold of your ear.

Cleaning andmaintenance of your ear mould
Carefully remove the ear mouldfrom the hearing aid.
Carefully wash the ear mould undera running tap.
Carefully dry the ear mould eitherwith a soft cloth or a gentle shake.To dry the tubing either use an airblower or leave to dry naturally.Please do not reconnect the earmould until completely dry. Pleaseask your Audiologist for moreinformation about a cleaning kitwhich you may purchase from theAudiology Department.
Carefully reconnect the ear mould tothe hearing aid.
Ensure the ear mould and hearingaid are connected correctly. Aligncorrectly by placing the ear mouldcurve to the inside curve of thehearing aid.

Please note: • When the tubing becomes discoloured –
contact the Audiology Department and theywill replace it for you.
• Do not wash your hearing aid; a wipe overwith a baby wipe is sufficient.

Take a new piece oftubing
Pull old tubing out andkeep for later
Feed through until bendreaches ear mould andtube is in an upright
