The Series Is Born Worked with artist to develop 10
posters to show the key messages. Each poster became a stand alone
poster, part of a series, and part of a poster collage.
Collage posters also printed in smaller size for hand-outs to kids.

Activity BookCreated characters and ‘a story’ to go with the posters.
Additional coloring pages and word games were included.
Adventure Trail Trailer Honda donated a truck which was turned
into the Adventure Trail Trailer. Posters were screen printed and attached
to truck interior walls. Ceramic, stuffed, and toy critters, OHVs,
trees, etc were purchased and put into the trailer.
Stairs, signs, and other safety tools were added.
Truck updated to a large trailer in 2009
Computer Game Created a computer game
(CD-ROM) containing the Adventure Trail story that combines video footage and the narrated messages.
Includes games and activities for kids.
In process to update CD.
Activity Book Updated Updated in 2011
for more coloring and games.
Story pages were moved to the website

Today’s Adventure Trail Many States have
created their own trailers Shipped:
• Nearly 500,000 activity books
• 40,000 crayon packs• 300 poster sets• 6,000 collage poster

Reaching The Next Age Group
We are on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc – But we don’t have ‘cool’ messages
Found an organization called School Media.• Place positive messages regarding Health,
Education, Nutrition, and Safety into schools across the country.
• Win-Win-Win School Media gets some of the funds School districts receive some of the funds We get messages to kids in their schools
Pilot Project Trial run in Minnesota (May – June,
2012) Funding provided by Coalition of
Recreational Trail Users, MN DNR RTP funds, OHV clubs
Messages went into:• 12 Elementary schools• 6 Middle schools• 5 High schools
Over 20,500 students reached Very positive feedback
Moving Forward Developed 3 sets of messages
• Adventure Trail for elementary schools• Training messages – Provided by
MIC/SVIA/ROHVA• Responsible riding messages
