Cruise: Hellesøy – Fedje The Bergen region has a fantastic coastline with thousands of islands and a lively cultural scene. The fjord landscape opens up just a few minutes’ drive west of Bergen city centre. The ice retreated 10,000 years ago, leaving thousands of islands like pearls on a string. This is the land of contrast and you can explore it all on this cruise out at the ocean’s edge, starting from Hellesøy, in the far north of Øygarden, to Fedje – the Village in the Sea.
