04 JUNE 2015 RALLY The 6th ANNUAL SEE ME SAVE ME CAMPAIGN is being hosted by Hill Air Force Base. The ride is scheduled to be held on Thursday, 4 June 2015. This Campaign is designed to motivate vehicle operators to take that extra moment to look specifically for motorcycles while driving. To make a larger impact we need maximum rider participation. We invite all riders who are interested in doing their part to help save fellow riders lives to join us. The more riders we have participating, the bigger the impact we can make and we will have the ability to enhance awareness of all who share the road. During our previous rides, with the help of our motor police escort riders along with local police staged at key intersections, we were able to complete our entire ride without any delays. Every intersection along the entire ride route was blocked, allowing uninterrupted travel to maintain the integrity of the campaign giving us complete control of the road. With local newspaper and live media coverage we are able to reach out and touch the entire State of Utah with our awareness message. The first part of our ride will begin on base with a 75 Security Forces Squadron escort along with Utah Highway Patrol and local community police riders. We will begin staging at 10:30 AM for all Hill AFB riders who are interested in joining our campaign. We will meet at the Motorcycle Safety Training Range (located on the east side of the South Gate). The ride will begin at 11:00. All riders who do not have access to the base who are interested in participating in this awareness campaign will meet at the Hill AFB Aerospace Museum on 5600 South Roy near the Hill AFB Roy gate (East of I-15, Off Base). These riders will need to be staged by 10:45. The route will include Roy, West Haven, Ogden, South Ogden, Uintah, South Weber, Layton, Clearfield and Sunset. Let’s all ride together and show our support for this important ride for life. The lives we save may be our own! If you have any questions, contact your Unit Motorcycle Safety Representive.
