Second Offense: Written documentation and warning (If Offense is within 90 days of the first offense).

Third Offense: Further discipline up to/and including termination. (If Offense is within 90 days of the first offense.)

high school• The expectation at St. James Collegiate, with respect to

attendance, is that students are allowed twelve absences in each course.

• Once a student reaches thirteen absences, they can potentially lose their credit unless all days over twelve are made up.

• If a student has more than twelve absences in any course and has not made up the required time by the end of the semester, their report card for the course in question will have “no mark” recorded and the comment will indicate that the credit is being withheld until the appropriate amount of time is made up.
