Project Description and Purpose
Bill Friebel, Rotary Club of The Woodlands President2014-15, had a vision to leave a lasting legacy tocommemorate Rotary’s milestone 40th Anniversary.The project will consist of erecting a four faced, 16foot, antique style clock in Town Green Park. Ourclub envisions the clock to serve as a landmark alongThe Waterway that motorists and pedestrians willboth see and hear.

Benefit to the Community
The proposed clock will benefit the community byserving as a reminder of the community serviceprojects Rotary Club of The Woodlands contributesthroughout our community. In addition, the clock willbe a landmark on The Waterway side of Town GreenPark that is situated perfectly to add a bricked in areasurrounding the clock where benches could be placedfor a seating area. It is also beneficial to have adependable and visually pleasing clock around theparks because visitors will use it for time keepingpurposes.
