required to perform job effectively for one specific jobs .

Content: To describe in details what steps,procedures, regulations , competency, skill …

How to Write JPW

Step 1 : Employee drafts description of current jobduties on JPW 

Identify your core works/duites (chức năng, nhiệm vụ chính) basedon an up-to-date job description.

Identify the steps or procedure (bước thực hiện hoặc quy trình ápdụng) of work perform in order to achieve the core works/duties.The the steps or procedure statements can then be analyzed toidentify the knowledge, skills, and other characteristics needed toperform the work.

Elaborate on steps or procedure to explain the context

Examples :

Instead of this – “Install software on client computers” 

Elaborate like this – “ Install (what kind of) software on (whatkind of) client computers for (what purpose)

How to Write JPW

Step 1 : Employee drafts description of current jobduties on JPW (cont.)

Rate the Proficiency level (mức độ thành thạo) of each steps or procedures on the four point scale (from

 Awarness to Mastery). The meaning of the scale values was clarified as attachment (Handout 5).

Email completed JPW to immediate supervisor

Step 2 : Manager reviews and revises JPW asneeded 

Ensure employee and position information at the top of
