Dear Leslie,
We just spoke on the phone.
I am writing about the proposed GTE Mobilnet d/b/a Verizon Wireless facility that is proposed
for 2517 Sacramento St in Berkeley. I have learned that in order to avoid negative health
effects from the EMFs transmitted by facilities such as this, it is necessary to live at
least one quarter of a mile away. This proposed facility is 2 blocks from my home. As it
already has an ATT relay station on top of the building it is already a serious health risk.
I am aging and chronically ill. I cannot afford magnified and additional health risk so
close to my home. I am very concerned about further endangerment to my already compromised
health.
Please put me on your email list to notify me of any public hearings about this proposed
facility.
You said you would send me a link that will notify me of what is going on with this
application process.
You also said you would look into the locations of other Verizon towers that already exist in
the city of Berkeley.
