ATOMIUM, AN ART CENTER Futuristic & Universal, the Atomium has never stopped remembering the spirit of Expo 58 – when the building was erected – and its dual inspiration of progress and innovation. Themes such as architecture, design (modernist or contemporary) and modern society are covered by a number of temporary exhibitions throughout the year. These exhibitions are aimed at the general public, Belgian or foreigner, tourist and culture lover.
