What is Ati-atihan?It is a festival is named after the Ati, the natives of Panay before the arrival of the Malay in the 10th century and the Spanish in the 16th century.

What happened?1. A group of 10 Malay Datus fleeing

from  Borneo settled in the Philippines.

2. The Ati people of the tribes of Panay Island let them settle.

3. Ati-han was really a pagan festival from this tribe that practices Animism for worshiping their anito god.
