Fred Crawford

Fred Crawford joined Aflac in June 2015 as executive vice president and chief financial officer of
Aflac Incorporated, responsible for overseeing the financial management of company operations.
He brings nearly three decades of financial and leadership experience to Aflac. Most recently, he
served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of CNO Financial Group since 2012.
Prior to that, he spent more than a decade at the Lincoln Financial Group serving in roles of
progressive responsibility, including as executive vice president and chief financial officer as well
as leading Corporate Development and Investments. Before joining Lincoln Financial Group, he
also held leadership positions at Bank One Corporation. Fred received his bachelor of arts degree
from Indiana State University and a master of business administration degree from the University of
Iowa, where he currently serves as an advisory board member with the Finance Department at its
Tippie College of Business.
Daniel J. Sheehan, IV

Genworth
Dan Sheehan is Executive Vice President, Chief Investment Officer of Genworth. He assumed his
role in April 2012 and has the responsibility for managing Genworth’s $72 billion investment
portfolio. Dan has been with Genworth / General Electric for the last 15 years. He started as Vice
President, Risk Manager for Investments Real Estate (1997-2002). His responsibilities included
leadership of the real estate risk team, review and/or approval of $4B+ of transactions, and portfolio
oversight responsibilities. In 2002, he joined the Investments Risk team as Risk Manager, Insurance
Portfolios, with responsibility for risk management oversight of the insurance investment portfolios.
In 2004, Dan assumed management responsibilities for the Investments Real Estate team as a
Senior Vice President. In early 2008, Dan’s role broadened to include direct management
responsibility of the Portfolio Management team, which included fixed-income trading. From
September 2009 to April 2012, Dan was SVP of Genworth’s Asset Management. He had
responsibility for the overall performance of Genworth's insurance investment portfolios
(Corporates, Structureds, Real Estate, Private Placements, and Trading). Prior to joining Genworth /
General Electric, Dan worked with Sun Life of Canada (1993-1997) in Wellesley Hills, MA as a
Property Investment Officer in the Real Estate Investments group. From 1987-1993, he worked for
the Massachusetts Laborers Benefit Fund as an auditor and auditing supervisor.
Dan, who is a CFA charter holder, graduated from Harvard University with a BA in Economics and
later received an MBA in Finance from Babson College.
John M. Barry

M Financial John M. Barry is Chairman and CEO of Barry, Evans, Josephs & Snipes. John began his insurance
career with Home Life Insurance Company of New York in New Orleans, Louisiana. In 1985, he
returned to Charlotte, North Carolina, and joined Barry, Evans, Josephs & Snipes.
John is a past board member of AALU, and currently serves on M Financial Group's Board of
Directors, as well as on the Product Development Group, Nominating Committee, MFH Board
Compensation Committee, Finance Committee, and M Benefit Solution Board. He is a member of
the Society of Financial Service Professionals, National Association of Insurance Financial
Advisors, and the Charlotte Estate Planning Council.
John graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, with a BS in
business administration. He holds the ChFC® and CLU® designations.

Constantine Iordanou

Constantine Iordanou has been Chairman of the Board of ACGL since November 6, 2009 and
President and Chief Executive Officer of ACGL since August 2003. He has been a director since
January 1, 2002. From January 2002 to July 2003, Mr. Iordanou was Chief Executive Officer of
Arch Capital Group (U.S.) Inc. From March 1992 through December 2001, Mr. Iordanou served in
various capacities for Zurich Financial Services and its affiliates, including as Senior Executive
Vice President of group operations and business development of Zurich Financial Services,
President of Zurich-American Specialties Division, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive
Officer of Zurich-American and Chief Executive Officer of Zurich North America. Prior to joining
Zurich, he served as President of the commercial casualty division of the Berkshire Hathaway
Group and served as Senior Vice President with the American Home Insurance Company, a
member of the American International Group. Since 2001, Mr. Iordanou has served as a director of
Verisk Analytics, Inc. (formerly known as ISO Inc.). He holds an aerospace engineering degree
from New York University.
Michael S. McGavick

Mike McGavick has been chief executive officer of XL Group plc since 2008. With Mike as CEO,
XL has built its premier position as the company its clients and partners look to for solutions to
complex risks.
In 2014, Mike was named the Insurance Leader of the Year by St. John’s University School of Risk
Management. Previously he has been recognized as one of the top 100 Game Changers in the last
hundred years of the insurance industry by Leaders Edge, the Bermuda Insurance Institute’s
(Re)insurance Person of the Year, the Review Magazine’s Industry Personality of the Year and
Reactions Magazine’s Insurance CEO of the Year.
Mike is currently the Chairman of the Geneva Association and is a Director and Immediate Past
Chairman of the Association of Bermuda Insurers & Reinsurers. He is on the board of the Global
Reinsurance Forum, the American Insurance Association, the Insurance Information Institute and
the International Insurance Society.
From 2001 to 2005, Mike was chairman, president and CEO of Safeco Corporation. Prior to joining
Safeco, Mike spent six years with CNA Financial Corporation, where he held various senior
positions, including president and CEO of the company's largest commercial insurance unit.
Mike has been involved in a number of industry, political, public affairs and community service
activities. He was a vice chairperson of the American Insurance Association and served as director
of its Superfund Improvement Project. He is a former chief of staff in the United States Senate and
ran for the US Senate in the State of Washington. Mike was the founding chairperson of the
Business Partnership for Early Learning and is also on the board of Landesa, a nonprofit
organization that helps the rural poor around the globe obtain land rights. He was named the Puget
Sound Business Journal's Executive of the Year in 2003 and was the 2005 winner of the prestigious
Charles E. Odegaard award for his efforts in promoting diversity at the University of Washington.

Mr. Hicks has served as President and chief executive officer since December 2004 and Executive
Vice President from October 2002 to December 2004, was Executive Vice President and Chief
Financial Officer of The Chubb Corporation before joining Alleghany. Prior to that, Mr. Hicks was
a senior research analyst and managing director at J.P. Morgan Securities from 1999 to 2001 and a
senior research analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. from 1991 to 1999. Mr. Hicks is a director of
AllianceBernstein Holding, L.P., a Chartered Financial Analyst, a member of the New York Society
of Securities Analysts and a member of the CFA Institute. Mr. Hicks is a graduate of Lehigh
University.

Dominic Addesso, CPA, is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Everest Re Group, Ltd.
He serves as a director of the Company since September 19, 2012, became Chief Executive Officer
of Everest Re on January 1, 2014. He became President of the Company, Everest Holdings and
Everest Re on June 16, 2011 and served as Chief Financial Officer of those companies from 2009
through the second quarter of 2012. From 2008 until he joined the Company in May 2009, Mr.
Addesso was President of Regional Clients of Munich Reinsurance America, Inc. From 2001 to
2009, he served as President of Direct Treaty, Munich Reinsurance America, Inc. with profit and
loss responsibility for direct treaty business covering all lines including surety, political risk and
marine. From 1999 through 2001, he served in various underwriting and financial operations roles.
From 1982 to 1995, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Selective
Insurance Group, Inc. Prior to that, Mr. Addesso worked in public accounting for KPMG.
Jay Nichols

Jay Nichols joined the Company in April 2012 as Chief Executive Officer of AXIS Re. Mr. Nichols
is the former President of RenaissanceRe Ventures Ltd., where he and his team were responsible for
business development and management of RenaissanceRe’s Joint Ventures and Venture Capital
businesses. In his role at RenaissanceRe, he was responsible for the formation of DaVinci
Reinsurance and Top Layer Reinsurance, as well as several sidecars and other ventures. Prior to
joining RenaissanceRe in 1995, Mr. Nichols held various positions at Hartford Steam Boiler,
Monarch Capital and the accounting firm of Matson, Driscoll and D’Amico.
Jack Sennott

Mr. Sennott has been senior vice president since April 2013 and chief financial officer since May
2013. He served as Executive Vice President and Chief Corporate Strategy Officer of Allied World
Assurance Company Holdings, AG from January 2010 to April 2012. Prior to that, from October
2008 to January 2010, Mr. Sennott served as the Chief Operating Officer of Allied World Insurance
Company. Mr. Sennott was the Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of
Darwin Professional Underwriters, Inc. from March 2003 to October 2008. Mr. Sennott is a
graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, is a certified public accountant and began
his career at Coopers & Lybrand in July 1987.

David Wheeler
Head of US Mortality
RGA, Incorporated
David P. Wheeler is Executive Vice President and Head of U.S. Mortality Markets for RGA
Reinsurance Company. Named to this position in January 2015, he is responsible for all operations
within the United States, including business development, pricing, underwriting, medical claims
and operations.
Dave first joined General American in 1980 and moved in 1983 to its reinsurance division (which
later became RGA). A veteran of the life insurance industry, Dave has held nearly every U.S.
underwriting role at RGA, culminating in his previous role of Senior Vice President and Global
Head of Underwriting, with global leadership responsibility for RGA’s global underwriting, risk
management and facultative mortality results.
Dave is a graduate of the University of Missouri - Columbia. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Life
Underwriting (FALU) and a Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI). He has served on the
Longer Life Foundation’s Advisory Board and on the ACLI’s Risk Classification Committee since
2008, and has been a member of the MIB Board of Directors since 2010. Dave is also a past
Treasurer of the Association of Home Office Underwriters (AHOU), and a past member of the
Academy of Life Underwriting’s Education Committee.

1981 as a member of the company’s sales force. Mr. Williams earned his B.S. in education from

Michael Doughty is President and General Manager, John Hancock Insurance, for John Hancock
Financial, the U.S. division of Toronto-based Manulife Financial Corporation. Mr. Doughty has
overall management responsibility for John Hancock’s life insurance and long term care insurance
businesses, including sales, marketing, product development and service operations. Before taking
on his current position in 2013, Mr. Doughty has been president of John Hancock Life Insurance.
Previously, he was Executive Vice President, Individual Insurance for Manulife’s Canadian
division. He was responsible for Manulife’s life and living benefits products in Canada as well as
the Affinity Markets business, which includes life, health, accident, travel and disability insurance.
Previously, he was Senior Vice President of Individual Insurance and had been Senior Vice
President of Group Savings & Retirement Solutions. Mr. Doughty, who joined Manulife in 1992,
has held a number of senior marketing positions in both Canadian and Corporate Operations. Mr.
Doughty graduated with a B.A. in History from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.

Will H. Fuller is president of Lincoln Financial Group Annuity Solutions, Lincoln Financial
Distributors, and Lincoln Financial Network. Additionally, Fuller serves on Lincoln Financial
Group’s Senior Management Committee, and is a member of the Investment and Enterprise Risk
and Capital committees.
In his role as president of the Annuity Solutions business, Fuller is responsible for all aspects of
strategic leadership, product development, and profitability management for the company’s market-
leading annuities products.
Fuller leads distribution and sales strategy for Lincoln Financial Distributors, Lincoln’s wholesale
distribution business for its Annuities, Small-Market Retirement Plan Services, Life and Long-
Term Care solutions. Fuller also provides strategic leadership for Lincoln Financial Network, the
company’s retail wealth management affiliate, which encompasses more than 8,000 representatives,
agents and full-service financial planners throughout the United States.
Prior to joining the company in 2009 as president of Lincoln Financial Distributors, Fuller led
product distribution for the Global Wealth Management division at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. His
experience spans life insurance, annuities, mutual funds, managed accounts, advisory programs, and
banking and retirement products.
Fuller, a current board member of the Insured Retirement Institute (IRI), received the IRI 2014
Leadership Award for his extraordinary contributions to the retirement income planning industry.
He also serves as a current board member of the Life Insurance and Market Research Association
(LIMRA) and is an active member of the Philadelphia Chapter of Young Presidents Organization
(YPO). Fuller is a former board member of Money Management Institute (MMI), the Forum for
Investor Advice (FFIA), and Global Selects, LLC, an offshore asset management company. A
graduate of The Citadel in Charleston, S.C., Fuller resides in Bryn Mawr, Pa., with his wife,
Jennifer, and daughters, Madeleine and Olivia.

Ronald J. Grensteiner is president of American Equity Investment Life Insurance Company. He
became president of the Life Company on January 1, 2009. Prior to being named president of the
Life Company, Mr. Grensteiner served as senior vice president and national marketing director for
the Company. He started his insurance career in 1985 as an agent with Northwestern Mutual Life
and later served as regional vice president for American Life and Casualty, a subsidiary of The
Statesman Group. Mr. Grensteiner received his B.S. from North Dakota State University.

Chris Nickele was appointed chief actuary of CNO Financial Group in August 2014. In this role he
is responsible for managing actuarial valuation as well as new product development and
management on an enterprise-wide basis, overseeing activities for the Bankers Life, Colonial Penn
and Washington National businesses.
Nickele joined CNO in October 2005 as executive vice president, product management, and was
named additionally to head a new business segment - Other CNO Business - in April 2010.
Nickele has more than 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, specializing in product
development. Nickele joined CNO from Lincoln Financial Group, where he served as vice
president and business line leader, general manager and First Penn-Pacific director for Lincoln's
term line of business. Previously, he held key actuarial positions at First Penn-Pacific, Zurich
Kemper Life and Bankers Life.
Nickele holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Notre Dame.
He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and a
participant of the Ad Hoc Committee on Regulation XXX.
Amy Pahl

Amy is a Principal and Consulting Actuary in the Minneapolis office of Milliman. She has been
with the firm since 2001. Amy specializes in long term care insurance products and has experience
in pricing and plan design, implementation and development, state insurance department filings,
inforce management, and financial reporting. Prior to joining Milliman, Amy was Assistant Vice
President and Product Actuary of LifeCare Assurance Company, a long-term care reinsurer. There
she had responsibility for product development, pricing, and actuarial regulatory filing and rate

joining CNO, Johnson served as senior vice president for National Westminster Bank, a division of
The Royal Bank of Scotland Group. In that position, he was responsible for management of various

strategies for pension plans, providing solutions that help plan sponsors assess their current risk

Phil’s team has completed the three largest pension risk transfer transactions to date: A
groundbreaking $25 billion pension buy-out with General Motors; a market-making $8 billion buy-
out with Verizon; and a $3.1 billion buy-out agreement with Motorola Solutions, Inc. The team also
completed the first pension buy-in transaction in the U.S., a $75 million agreement with Hickory
Springs Manufacturing Company.
In addition, Phil’s team has executed numerous international reinsurance agreements since 2010,
covering the pension liability risk of such firms as British Airways and Rolls-Royce. In 2014, the
