Associate Podiatrist Chiropody.co.uk is part of the Tx Group, a privately owned network which provides health and education therapy services in the North West of England. Chriopody.co.uk is a leading provider of private podiatry/ chiropody care, treating a wide range of complaints related to the foot and lower limb. We offer immediate access to our services and work as part of a multidisciplinary team of professionals to ensure the best possible care is delivered to all our patients in a comfortable and welcoming setting. The Podiatrist will join our team on an associate basis and will primarily be based in our central Liverpool (Speke) clinic, however will occasionally attend home visits. Day to day duties will include managing your own caseload and providing routine podiatry treatments, nail surgery, cryotherapy and PACT antifungal therapy to clients. Working hours can be arranged around existing commitments and we anticipate hours will be available for clinics 2-3 days per week. Due to the possibility of home visits, it would be preferable if applicants could drive and have access to a car.

The ideal candidate The successful applicant must meet the following requirements:
• BSc Hons Podiatry (2:2 and above) • HCPC Registered • SCPOD registered • At least two years’ experience working as a podiatrist • Competent in the use of local anaesthetic
Our ideal candidate will be a personable and confident podiatrist with extensive clinical knowledge and the skills to independently treat a wide range of podiatry complaints. They will be specifically trained in CPR and anaphylaxis, committed to CPD and willing to take on new challenges. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be capable of creating a good rapport with clients, as well as good working relationships with other multidisciplinary team members. They will be reliable, flexible, highly organised and able to prioritise their workload appropriately.
