Assignment 2:Blog analysis.

Rosalin Zein, 12 Pius.

The target level that I am doing is level C.I will be analysing Abigail Edwards’s and Milka Erko’s blogs.I chose these two blogs because they are from different groups.

The first one I will be analysing is Abigail Edward’s....

What Went Well: Even Better if:

She included reviews of her work. She had added her target levels and targets.

She had pictures of her filming with her group.

The levels for each draft + reviews of each draft and they aren’t fully completed .

She included extra work she did to improve her story board and helpful blogs.

The blog was in chronological order to make it easier to navigate.

The blog is clear and easy to read and had some embedded videos.

Some of her photos are not uploaded correctly.

She wrote about each assignment and the spelling and grammar was good.

The blog looks nice and is presented clearly.

She included scans of her assessment for each draft.

She added her own thoughts on her draft.

The headings stand out from the background

I would give the blog a mark of 17/20.Which I think is a level B.

The second blog is Milka Erko’s:

What went well: Even better if:

Shows the changes made throughout. Included more writing

Lots of photos and embedded videos about the planning

It showed the level of each draft separately than on the scans of the teachers assessment.

Extra work about camera shots Pictures of the story boards and planning were more clearer.

Shows teachers feed back. The assignment posts were in order.

Shows time table of when their group met up.

Includes slideshows.

Has teacher assessments for each draft.

Nice background.

No introduction about what the slideshow shows.

Overall i would give this a 16/20. So a grade B.

Similarities and differences:

• They were both similar in that they both had a good amount of pictures and slideshows.

•However, I think Abigail had more explanations of her work rather than only pictures and also she used the blog like a normal blog.

•Milka’s blog had the same amount of photos but with less or even no introductions and explanations of her work. She did post more extra work.

•Both the blogs weren't in chronological order which would have made it easier to navigate and understand the changes.
