Assignment 30Target audience and how our OTS is appealing to our TA

Target Audience:

• We have chosen our target audience to be people aged between 15 to 30.

• The reason we have chosen this is because we feel that this is the target audience for most horror films.

• We will also aim our films at religious people.

• Our target audience will be mainly males in this age group.

• Our target audience will also be people who enjoy the sub-genre ‘devil, demons and hell’.

How is our OTS appealing to our AT?:

• In our OTS we will include religious references.

• We will include mature themes that will appeal to the age range of 15 - 30.

• Our OTS’ mature themes will also appeal to a male audience through the use of only male characters and the gory essence.

• In our OTS we have included a bible and references to satanism which will attract religious audiences because of the religious themes that we have included in our OTS.

• We have also included a few conventions of the devil, demons and hell sub-genre meaning it will appeal to people who enjoy this sub-genre.
