This year’s state budget: ■ Provides $10 million to help localities implement early voting

■ Provides $14.7 million for counties to purchase electronic poll books and on-demand ballot printers

■ Requires polling places be open on primary day from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

✓ Establish early voting, which would take place during a nine-day period before elections (Ch. 6 of 2019)

✓ Ensure voter registration is automatically transferred to your new county when you move (Ch. 3 of 2019)

✓ Allow everyone to vote by absentee ballot (A.778)

✓ Permit 16- and 17-year-olds to pre-register to vote (Ch. 2 of 2019)

✓ Close the LLC loophole to stop special interests from making nearly unlimited campaign contributions (Ch. 4 of 2019)

✓ Combine the state and federal primary days (Ch. 5 of 2019)
