Looks like the weather will be working with us and this should be a great event. Talking of events the next several months for me will be exciting here at KSU. Our office is planning to move into Harbourt Hall which is currently being renovated and will be the new home for the Office of the University Architect, Life Safety, Facilities and Planning. Our old location will be converted into more space for the School for Public Health. With this and the completion of our summer projects the next two months is always a push before students are back in full force. On the society side the Technical Symposium in Orlando Oct. 27-30 at the Buena Vista Palace Hotel which is located inside the Disney resort will be here before you know it. Registration is open. Please visit the ASPE website at www.aspe.org for additional information including a tentative program schedule. In addition ASPE and IAPMO are working on the revision to the Hunter Curve to account for High-Efficiency Fixtures. This has been long overdue. In addition please check out the home page for ASPE as they are looking for some critical feedback on the timing of our National and technical Symposium dates which we have been dealing with for as long as I can remember. ASPE needs your feedback. Please get involved. We are also looking to have copies of the major ASPE design books available for you to see at our first technical program at Harry’s in October. Please take some time to review these documents. This is a great opportunity to have a sneak peek of the material before you purchase. Final Item is the Clam Bake! Please make sure to register the number of bakes that you want. This event is always a great social event for us so please confirm your attendance. The Clam Bake will take place on September 14 th . Registration forms will be forthcoming so please look for this information very soon! Enjoy the remaining summer and I will see you on the links. Regards, Keith Bush President Cleveland Chapter
