The Asociación Amigos de la Pardela Cenicienta is a non-profit organization that works since 1986 for the conservation of the pelagic seabird species on the Canary Islands (Spain) and for promoting an attitude of respect for the natural heritage of this Macaronesian archipelago. Its work is focused on the participative conservation of seabirds through environmental education campaigns, it participates in on the recovery and release for over 20 years of hundreds of shearwaters and petrels that fall out each year in all the Canaries due to the light pollution, an the study of the distribution and conservation status of the populations of petrels and shearwaters on the Canary Islands as well as monitoring and reporting of factors that threaten them.
