Shachi Shah, Team Leader Shachi Shah is from India, where she worked for one of the largest tour operators, gaining invaluable knowledge and experience customizing itineraries. During those years, she also had the opportunity to travel extensively around India and to neighboring Asian countries like Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Qatar. After she moved to the U.S., she began working at Flight Centre and fell in love with selling amazing vacations and sharing all her experiences and expert knowledge with customers. She can’t wait to help create dream vacations! Marjorie Ayala, Assistant Team Leader Spanish Speaking Marjorie Ayala was born in Cali, Colombia, but was raised in Brooklyn. She is fluent in English and Spanish and is a veteran in the travel industry, working for more than seven years in hospitality and hotel sales. Her continued passion led her to Worldwide Traveler, where she became an Assistant Team Leader. Her extensive training in long haul destinations like Thailand, Bali, Maldives, Europe, and others has helped numerous agents plan and deliver dream vacations. She has traveled throughout Asia, including Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. She looks forward to putting many more stamps on her passport, and helping others get more stamps onto theirs! In Yokohama, she booked vacation packages for military personnel and their families. She also lived in Hawaii and spent time traveling throughout Asia. She joined Flight Centre in 2013 and has continued to travel extensively. Her last vacation was to Bangkok and Singapore. She has a passion for working with nonprofit organizations in hopes of inspiring others to help fight hunger and poverty. James Garcia, ConsultantJames Garcia was born in the Philippines and migrated to the U.S. when he was 16. In 2007, he joined GOGO Vacations, where he spent seven years with GOGO Online Sales. Here, he assisted with technical service issues but also helped travel agents plan the perfect vacation for their customers. James loves to learn about different cultures and feels a deep sense of fulfillment whenever he helps plan an unforgettable,once-in-a-lifetime trip. He has traveled to the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, and throughout the Caribbean, Mexico, the US, and Canada. He is looking forward to creating the most amazing travel experiences for his customers.
Jennifer Tunick, ConsultantJenny Tunick grew up in the travel business. Her father was a travel agent who instilled in her a passion for travel at a very young age. She has lived in both London and Switzerland, and has dual university degrees in Art History and Hotel/Restaurant Management. Having family in the Middle East and Europe – and having lived abroad herself – Jenny has been able to travel extensively throughout Israel, Egypt, Turkey, Morocco, Jordan and almost all of Europe. Her last trip was to South Africa, and Asia will be next. She’s raising her two young boys to be just as passionate about travel, and plans to extend her passion for travel to agents as well!
