  • • Stormwater Quality regulations and permitting are more demanding and compliance is mandatory

    • More complicated projects and regulations are increasing Operation and Maintenance requirements

    • Aging infrastructure is increasing the amount of maintenance needs

    • Existing funding in the stormwater utility is not adequate to address current and future demands

    • Recent weather events have revealed our vulnerability to flooding

    • Hurricane Matthew-2200 plus homes flooded as a result there is a need to address flooding in neighborhoods

    • Developed a program to increase CIP $300 million over the next 15 years
