Order of Events

We will meet a few weeks before your session either in person (over coee or lunch)

or via Zoom. is is our time to get to know each other, sip on a yummy drink, and

uncover the possibilities of your dream shoot! We will talk about your goals, outfits,

and shoot details!

MEET & GREET!

Drink water and maintain your skin! Keep away from unsightly tan lines

and burning. Have nails clean or done in a nice neutral so they don’t distract.

Please arrive early! We will use all the light we have le in the day to explore

and capture perfect images!

We’ll sit down right aer the shoot and pick your images same day! No need

WHAT TO EXPECT

01.PREPARATION

A er you schedule a session, you will get a confirmation email containing tons of

information on how to prepare for your session, what to bring, directions, etc.

You will also be able to fill out a questionnaire so that we will know what your

preferences are for music, hair & makeup, and photo styles ahead of your shoot.

If you want to go a step further, you can collect images you like which will help us

know what style(s) you want to pursue during your session. An easy way to do this is

02.ARRIVAL

When you arrive at the studio, you are welcome to park directly in front of the carport.

Your professional makeup artist/stylist will be there ready to make you beautiful. Lashes

included.

A er hair and makeup, you’re invited to get comfortable and unpack in the dressing

room. I'll take a look at the photos you've collected (or we can look at my portfolio book

full of samples) so I can get a solid sense of what imagery and style you like.

borrow from our huge wardrobe collection with any items you brought along. 

As your photographer, my priority is taking the best photos possible,

which is why I created a few packages with you in mind.

Studio sessions are available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  I am a natural light photographer, so I work around

the sun and must schedule sessions in the morning for best light.

Boudoir Photography is intimate in nature, and I understand that not everyone

wants their photos publicly shared. Any photos that are shared on my website,

blog, social media or in ANY public manner have been released by my clients, in

writing. Yep – they loved their photos SO MUCH that they wanted to share them

with the world.

What does this mean for you? If you are in love with your photos as well and you

want to share, I would be honored to have you in my portfolio. If you aren’t

Here we are, the golden question. e number one question that I get about Ashlee

Jo boudoir photography!

You might be thinking that you have NOTHING to wear, am I right? Or maybe you

have a HUGE drawer of lingerie that you’ve collected through the years and you

don’t know what to choose!

wear. I have a welcome email that you will receive that will walk you through

things to wear! We also provide a huge client closet ranging from XS - 4X available

for use in the studio. Here’s a hint: remember those heels you bought because they

were super sexy but they hurt your feet so bad that you never wear them? Bring

them!

WHAT DO I WEAR FOR MY BOUDOIR SESSION?

I have worked with professional models a handful of times, and usually for

commercial activities – my clients are everyday women just like you. Wives, moms,

sisters, stay at home moms, grandmothers, and every type of woman you can

imagine! ey didn’t know how to pose or even set their faces in the facial

expressions they wanted. ey le feeling amazing, and you will as well!

your finished product, I want to make sure that you are comfortable in every

possible way. I want you to not only LOOK amazing, but to feel amazing as well!

I’M NOT A MODEL, I DON’T LOOK LIKE THE WOMEN ON YOUR SITE. HOW CAN I POSE FOR THESE TYPES OF PHOTOS?

I leave the hair and makeup to the artists that have that talent! I work

directly with stylists that I trust and have worked with consistently, they are

absolutely amazing at hair and makeup and that option can be added onto any

session. ey come directly to the studio, so you don’t have to worry about driving

in between or figuring out tra c! You can come into the studio and relax while

they pamper you, and we chat.

DO YOU OFFER HAIR AND MAKEUP WITH YOUR SESSIONS?

I take pride in editing each and every included photo in order to enhance the image

and give that professional, quality look. Your session retainer includes skin perfec-

tion and color enhancing edits. Clients are not allowed to alter or re-edit photos in

any way. Simple crop adjustments are allowed for print purposes.
