Hydrogen is an excellent fuel for many

reasons. Hydrogen is:

carbon-freeexceptionally cleanlighter than airodourlessnon-toxicsafe to produce, store and transporteasy to store in large amountseasily produced from many different sources

Where Does Hydrogen Come From?

There are numerous possible sources for producing hydrogen including:-

Electrolysis of water

Reforming organic substances

Pyrolysis

The Nature of Hydrogen:- Disperses quickly Is non-toxic Produces water upon combustion Can be stored safely Does not plume Does not leach Is stable in ambient temperatures

HOW SAFE IS HYDROGEN?

o safer than other flammable fuels such as gasoline or natural gas.

o the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is developing international safety standards.

o Hydrogen has been safely produced, stored, transported, and used in large amounts in industry.

WHAT IS A FUEL CELL?

A fuel cell produces electricity through a chemical reaction, but without combustion

Fuel cells operates much like a battery, except they don’t require electrical recharging.

It’s an electro-chemical energy conversion device that produces electricity, water, and heat.

HYDROGEN FUEL:- Hydrogen is

one of two

natural

elements that

combine to

make water.

Hydrogen is

not an energy

source, but an

energy carrier.

conclusionHydrogen is the key to bright future.

It able to compete with oil in a global

market, at a fraction of the price.

The fuel that will guide us through the

twenty-first century and beyond for as long

as the sun continues to shine and there is

someone willing to reap its treasure.
