We are often asked by new folks to our district about the quality of our education providers in particular about the quality of our primary schools and “hand on heart” the feedback we hear about the local schools is, without exception, very positive.
We have extremely productive
and diverse ranges of agricultural activities backed up by strong support networks of associated businesses.
We are located close to Port Lyttleton and to Port Timaru and also very handy to Christchurch International airport, making it easier to access international markets than many of our competitors.

It tastes and can be used in just the same way as regular thyme but it’s also excellent grown as ground cover or lawn.Unlike standard thyme, which grows up, creeping thyme spreads out along the ground making it perfect for filling in gaps in your garden or lawn. All it needs is some well-drained soil in full sun to light shade.When you’ve found the right spot for your creeping thyme, also known as wandering thyme, jump online and order some seedlings from awapuni.co.nz. If you need any new gardening tools or accessories, like gloves, you can also grab some from the new garden products section of our online store.
