Malaysia is strategically located in heart of Southeast Asia and
it offers a cost-competitive location for investors intending to
set up a regional trade hub in order to manufacture or supply
advanced technological products for both local and regional
markets. Other than its strategic location, Malaysian government
has recognized the importance of further development and
sustainability. Therefore, the Economic Transformation Program
(ETP) has been initiated to propel the economic growth of the
country.
Fuelled by approved government projects and potential investment
from the private sector, Malaysian economy is expected to sustain
its growth momentum in 2015.
The momentum contributed by the main sectors is believed to
continue drive the growth in machinery and equipment market.

heavy equipment, particularly mining, construction and
infrastructure industries. The growth of three sectors has also
triggered high demand for heavy equipment products. However, most
of the ASEAN countries are having an unavoidable issue that they
have much relied on the heavy machinery imports due to limited
selections or technology provided by local manufacturers. There is
a need to create a connection between machinery manufacturers or
providers and product seekers.
As a result, ASEAN Heavy Machinery & Equipment Exhibition
(AseanMach) is established in order to address this regional issue
in a more complete and practical way.
Following the success in 2014, AseanMach shall continue to be
the heart of heavy machinery market of which people involving in
the said market from ASEAN countries can effectively interact with
each other.
The highly comprehensive showcase of latest products, total
solutions and technology featured in AseanMach is set to promote
the development of building, construction, mining and
infrastructure industry to a greater height.
