All are Living Organisms!

• The diversity of life on Earth is incredible. As different as living things can be, however, they all have some things in common.

• What do you think the “characteristics of life” are?– Think about the earthworm and mealworm

you observed, think about yourself, and think about the pictures you just studied. What characteristics do they share-what makes them “alive”?

• Begin with Partner B.

• Switch to Partner A and he or she shares one characteristic.

• Continue until all ideas are shared.
