As a responsible corporate citizen, the Corporation has also initiated schemes for local

entrepreneurship. Assam Gas Based Power Plant, Bukoloni, Assam, has extended financial assistance

to Self Help Groups of Women located near the Plant for producing facial masks which were then

procured for use by the employees of the Plant. We have also continued to provide assistance to the

local authorities in terms of relief materials for the needy and PPEs, such as facial masks, hand

sanitisers, hand gloves, etc.

As part of precautionary measures, the Corporation continued strict monitoring of entry of goods

laden vehicles in its Power Plants with sanitisation and thermal scanning of people at the entry gates.

Routine deep cleansing and sanitisation of Workspaces, Township Colony and surrounding areas are

being carried out as preventive measures against COVID-19.

A number of awareness programmes were conducted as a part of Swachhta Pakhwada and Prevention

of COVID-19 pandemic for Employees, Contract Workers, Drivers, Hygiene workers, Security

Personnel in all offices and power plants through Trainings, Banners, Slogan Writing Competitions

besides providing them with PPEs and installing hand washing and sanitising facilities in various

locations.
