This Standard was prepared by the Standards Australia Committee IT/6, Information Technology for

Industrial Automation and Integration. It is identical with, and has been reproduced from, ISO 10303-

47:1997, Industrial automation systems and integrationProduct data representation and exchange,Part 47: Integrated generic resource: Shape variation tolerances.

The objective of this Standard is to provide, for designers of computer-interpretable representation

and exchange of product data, a specification of the resource constructs for representing dimensions

and tolerances of product shapes.
