ARTOTEC has created a collection of alternative equip-ment. Robust and innovative collection of ARTOTEC for play-grounds / Sculptures Playful furniture for children and adults in outdoor environments.

ARTOTEC is a French / Swedish company who designs, man-ufactures and sells innovative equipment for playgrounds / play sculptures and furniture for children and adults.

☼ All play equipment and furniture from ARTOTEC are ap-proved according to the latest standards and European safety standards EN 1176:2008 and have been a driving force for the renewal of the standard. ☼ All play equipment ARTOTEC are developed according to accessibility guidelines for buildings and facilities: U.S. Access Board (2005) ADAAG Play (2000), Prellwitz & Skar (2007), Iwarsson och Stahl (2003) standards international ISO 9241 for accessibility - and Universal Design.

☼ We are also happy to announce that our Swedish manufacturers and suppliers can compete with the costs of production vis-à-vis pro-ducers outside Europe.

☼ How do I install them? Easy! only 1, 2 or 3 foundations for each equipment or furniture. Instructions for assembly and maintenance will be attached to the order.

☼ Where to get the drawings in DWG format? Download them on the web.

☼ What is the safety distance required? in conformity with European standards of safety and standard EN 1176:2008. Minimum 1.5 safety free space around each equipment into the playground area.

☼ 4-12 weeks of manufacture according to the quantity and color choices in the same order. From factory.

☼ 15 years warranty for metalic parts in accordance with policy ARTOTEC. Materials and finishes rekommendations and maintenance will follow with order.

We recommend: Ground Fixed cast PolytanSafety 90 +10 mm in accordance with European standard EN-1177: 2008 for availability.

Protecting Bases for cases up to 2.5 meters can also be combat sand or bark in accordance with EN-11 77:2008 supplier’s instructions.

Construction Fall Protection

All Fall built up in the same way basically to the fact that the two stock’s thickness varies with its design of vertical drop protection.

1st Layer one consists of a 10-15 mm rubber gran-ules bound materials such as EPDM fraction of 1-3 mm. The color of this layer can be varied in 24 dif-ferent hues and different patterns and shapes can be integrated into this layer. Stocks binds tighter than the lower current layer to achieve the desired wear resistance and durability.

2nd Layer two is the real shock-absorbing layer and varied in thickness between 55-125 mm. This layer consists of a bound rubber granulate material such as black SBR fraction of 2-7 mm with a lower% binder content than one team.

3rd Bottom layer is composed of asphalt or rock flour and provides the basis for Fall Protection.
