1996-99drawing and painting courses Charcoal Drawings

Artistic experience

From 1996 to 1999 I made studies of drawing and painting in an Art academy.

I started drawing greek sculptures with charcoals and smudgers. The teacher usually placed some items in the composition to get it more complicated (like vases,

sheets wrapping the statue...). The size of the paper always was 100x70cm.

1996-99drawing and painting courses Paintings watercolour, coulored pencils and oils

Artistic experience

Starting with charcoal drawings on paper, after a couple of years, I continued with watercolours. The teacher always chose the picture of the composition I had

to paint. Currently, I don’t keep all my watercolours because I gave and sold some of them.

Following the watercolour phase, I learnt coloured pencil.

The size of these drawings was A3.

In the academy, twice per year we organised a special exhibition with a common issue and free technic. The last picture is an oil painting which represents the

Albufera of Valencia (a wetland with international importance). The size is 100x70 cm

Furniture and decorative pieces

Design experience

In my private life, several years ago, we moved. I had the chance of designing some furniture like a bookshelves (as it is shown in the picture), a small table for

the computer, a frame, a shelving for cd’s and the glass of some doors.

The main piece was the bookshelves, so, the other three items followed the style of that and were plain in order of not diminish the importance of it (due to the

room wasn’t too big).

I have been always keen on making my own decorative pieces and I show two samples. In the differents places I have lived, and according to the season, I usua-

lly go in self-made things. Is a way of getting a new atmosphere just changing splashes of color or shapes.
