What movies do you like about intelligent computers or robots?
At present, what activities are computers better at than humans?

In 1950, Alan Turing, the father of computer science, suggested a simple test: The Turing test evaluates the Human like behavior of an Artificially Intelligent system (AI).

Design a computer program that can simulate human conversation.

Place it behind a screen or otherwise conceal it from view.

Invite a human being to converse with the computer in the form of text messages.

If the person mistakes the computer-generated conversation for a human, then the computer can be said "to think".
Think of five questions you would ask a computer to find out if there was a human answering them or whether the answers were coming from a robot.
You are not allowed to ask whether the 'person' is a robot/computer.

The objective of the Turing Test is to establish if a computer has real human-like intelligence.

But if a computer were to pass the test, would it really have demonstrated this ability?
The Loebner Prize is an annual contest where judges hold short conversations with concealed artificial-intelligence programs and humans, and then have to decide which is which.
On June 7th 2014, for the first time ever, a Russian supercomputer named “Eugene Goostman” was able to fool researchers and make them believe it was a 13 year old boy.
The computer was able to beat the Turing test by fooling 33% of the researchers.
“Eugene” was created in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It was invented by software development engineer Vladimir Veselov and software engineer Eugene Demchenko.
