This is your opportunity to step inside the workshops, homesand minds of up to 100 local artists to witness at first hand theinspiration and motivation which drives them to create.
Step inside a pottery, discuss painting techniques, try your handat bookbinding, snoop inside a sketchbook or simply bask in awide selection of art and craft, from the traditional to theradical.
This year you have more opportunities than ever before to takepart in the open studios event as it spans 3 weekends in June,with many of the artists opening during the week also. Severalof the artists are presenting their work as a group in galleries,historic buildings, and alternative venues and most will have thekettle on the boil ready for your visit.
