Step 1: The artist has selected this chair to draw and paint in Van Gogh’s characteristic style using his three favourite colours.

Step 2: On a blank sheet of paper, draw an outline of the chair with a green crayon.

Step 3: Colour some part of the chair using chrome yellow.
Step 4: Using a brown crayon, create some small strokes in the background.

Step 5: With a white crayon, create a light shaded layer on the entire painting.

Step 6: Now wipe out the white colour.

Step 8: Next, lightly shade the background using a light green crayon.

Step 9: With a navy blue crayon, draw an outline of the chair and draw small strokes in the background.
Step 10: With the same crayon, draw the border of a room in the background to include the floor and walls.

Step 11: With a dark brown crayon, draw a horizontal line to make the floor more defined.

Step 12: With a chrome yellow crayon, partially shade the floor using light strokes.

Step 13: Draw small strokes on the floor using a navy blue crayon.

Step 14: Using the same crayon, draw the shadow of the chair and your painting is complete!
