• A diverse, successful program needs consistent instructional tools
• Inconsistent technology in art rooms across the district disadvantage many students
• Old computers and a lack of Promethean boards and ELMO projectors in some art rooms hinder lesson plan sharing and presentations

• Art needs space• Art-on-a-cart severely dilutes the curriculum• Sometimes art is not offered at all

• No changes to the curriculum are needed at this time
• Updated National Standards will be released soon
• We may need to make adjustments accordingly
