Parking information There is parking in Lots 10 and 11, which are a short walk from MacEwan Hall A/B, at a rate of $8/day. If you are looking for closer parking, there is underground parking available in MacEwan Student Centre at a rate of $6/hour. - Only students who are currently enrolled into an authorized co-op program may work full-time on this work permit – the work performed must be for academic credit. Students will have a letter from their department stating co-op requirements. Letters from a supervisor/professor are not acceptable. - Unpaid internships/co-op positions also require this work permit.

Note: Paragraph 186(w) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR) allows students who have completed their program of study to work while they are waiting for a decision on their work permit application, as long as they were a full-time student enrolled at a designated learning institution (DLI) in a post-secondary academic, vocational or professional training program and they did not exceed the allowable hours of work.
