• Introducción. Muchos así lo enseñan para poder enseñar “fe sola”. Saben que arrepen-timiento es necesario; por eso, lo ponen primero. “Salvos al creer, ya se arrepintió”.

• Introduction. Many teach this in order to teach “faith only.” They know repentance is necessary; therefore, they put it first. “Saved when believe, already repented.”


• Desde luego, son inconsecuentes porque también saben que la confesión es necesaria y no puede ser antes de creer.

• Mat. 21:32, hablando de Juan, “ni siquiera os arrepentisteis después para creerle”. Evangelio no es arrepentirse para creer a Juan. No toca el tema.

• Matt. 21:32, speaking of John, “you did not repent so as to believe him.” The gospel is not repent in order to believe in John. Does not touch the question.


• Mar. 1:15, “arrepentíos y creed en el evangelio”. Dicho a judíos que ya creyeron en Dios.

• Mark 1:15, “Repent, and believe in the gospel.“ Said to Jews who already believed in God.


• Hech. 20:21, “arrepentimiento para con Dios y la fe para con el Señor Jesús”. Ya creían en Dios.

• Acts 20:21, “repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.” They already believed in God.


• Heb. 6:1, “no echando otra vez el fundamento del arrepentimiento de obras muertas y de la fe hacia Dios”. No habla de fe en Cristo.

• Heb. 6:1, “not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God.” Not speaking of faith in Christ.

• Mat. 12:41, “se arrepintieron a (hacia) la predicación de Jonás”. Jonás 3:5, “creyeron en Dios, y proclamaron ayuno y se vistieron de cilicio”. ¿Antes o después de creer?

• Matt. 12:41, “they repented at (toward) the preaching of Jonah.” Jonah 3:5, “believed God, proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth.” Before or after they believed?


• Jonás 3:8, “vuélvase cada uno de su mal camino”. Primero, Jonás les predicó; ellos creyeron; se arrepintieron; volvieron de su mal camino.

• Hech. 2. Pedro predicó a Cristo. V. 36, Señor y Cristo. V. 37, se compungieron, ¿qué haremos? ¿Sin haber creído el v. 36? Pre-gunta procede de creyentes o incrédulos?

• Acts 2. Peter preaches Christ. V. 36, Lord and Christ. V. 37, cut to heart, what must we do? Without having believed v. 36? This question proceeds from believers or unbelievers?


• Lo importante aquí es que creen en (para con) Cristo y se arrepienten hacia Cristo. Así son el creer y el arrepentirse del evangelio que predicamos y obedecemos.

• The important thing here is that they believe in Christ and repent toward Christ. This is the case of the believing and repenting of the gospel that we preach and obey.


• 2 Cor. 7:8-10. Carta escrita, recibida, tristeza según Dios, arrepentimiento. ¿Procedió de creyentes o de incrédulos? ¿De fe o de incredulidad?
