All India Revenue and ARPU Trend

• The private GSM Mobile Operators recorded a revenue of INR 288 billion in the third quarter of year 2015

• The QoQ revenue for private GSM Mobile Operators has decreased by 2.02%

• The private GSM Mobile Operators recorded ARPU of INR 133

• The ARPU levels decreased by 3.91% q-o-q


Circles Ranked in terms of AGR


ARPU Trend for Metros

• Delhi and Mumbai circles recorded an increase in ARPU

• Mumbai has constantly registered the highest ARPU value and stood at INR 244

• In Chennai, one of the member operators has stopped recording the data and Chennai data is part of Tamil Nadu circle now

• Kolkata has the lowest ARPU (INR 129) among the Metro circles


ARPU Trend for Category A Circles

• Except for Tamil Nadu, all Category A circles witnessed a decrease in ARPU levels

• Karnataka (INR 173) was the highest ARPU generating circle among category A circles

• ARPU in Maharashtra (INR 136) saw maximum decline of 5.11%


ARPU Trend for Category B Circles

• All circles except witnessed decrease in ARPU levels

• UP-E witnessed maximum decrease in ARPU (INR 112) in the quarter of 9.21%

• Kerala has the highest ARPU of INR 201 followed by Punjab (INR 171) among B circles


ARPU Trend for Category C Circles

• All the Category C circles except J&K witnessed a decrease in ARPU levels

• J&K witnessed increase in ARPU (INR 158) of 2.62%

• Bihar witnessed maximum decrease in ARPU (INR 90) of 10.17%

• J&K has the highest ARPU of INR 158
