Debra received both her undergraduate and her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from WVU and was admied to the United States Supreme Court in 1989. She has served as President of The West Virginia State Bar and is currently the representave from the State Bar Board of Governors to the House of Delegates of the American Bar Associaon. She is a former Member of the law firm of Kay Casto & Chaney PLLC. Aſter compleng her me on the bench as Chief Judge of the Monongalia County Circuit Court, Debra has recently accepted an offer from the WVU College of Law to teach its upper-level Trial Advocacy Course. She also serves as a Mediator and Arbitrator in civil cases across West Virginia. Debra lives in Morgantown with her husband Bill and is pictured here with Bill, their daughter Rachel, and their Yorkie “Vito.” She says that she is “honored to be asked to serve on the Advisory Board of the Rosenbaum Family House. We are glad you are here and look forward to working with you! Employee Feature This month we are featuring Paent Family Liaison, Andrew Belcher. Andrew has worked at the Rosenbaum Family House August 2019 and we love having him on our team. Andrew, a WV nave, is majoring in Communicaons Sciences and Disorders with a Minor in Equine Studies at WVU. He plans to graduate this December with his Bachelor’s Degree. Andrew says he loves working at the RFH because of all the amazing people he gets to meet and the amazing people he gets to work with! Something that might surprise his co-workers about him is that when he was in 2nd grade he went deaf and on Halloween night of his 3rd grade year he got his hearing back. Now he can hear perfectly. We are proud to have Andrew on the RFH Team and we wish him luck in his fall semester!
