Dec. 1st ~ Persimmon Day! Come & learn how to dry persimmons whole ( in the Japa- nese style of hoshigaki), how to dehydrate, sample recipes for cookies, puddings & breads or freeze the pulp for later. Time is 10—noon at 60 Carr Ave. Cost is $2. For more info contact Wen- dy Elder at 726-3406. You do not need to bring persimmons to this at event Dec. 8th ~ Repurpose Workshop 12-2 pm at the Aromas Water District Office, learn how to make an old favor- ite sweater into something new! Bring your own sewing machines, or several will already be set up. New to sewing? No problem! Come early at 11:00 and receive a simple sewing lesson. Don’t forget to bring your old sweater! We’re having a Party! January 13th the Aromas Grange celebrates it’s Centennial. Mark the date & plan to come. More informaon to follow in January. Song Circle Goes Caroling Join in the festivities as we go out car- oling on Monday, Dec. 17th, at 7:00 pm, meet at the Aromas Grange. Please note: Song Circle will now meet the 3rd Monday of every month If you would like to make a donation in honor of a loved one for Adopt-a- Family or Scholarship Fund, make your check payable to the Aro- mas Grange, noting the fund and we will send an acknowledgement card to your honoree.
