Technology for a better society
Master thesis at SINTEF• Focus on: Technology for a better society and Research for Innovation
• Problem‐oriented focus ‐ Applied Research – working with problem owners and solution providers in industry (large, SME) and government
• International collaboration – participation in European and International projects –international research partners
• English as working language for the thesis work. Located near Ifi in Gaustadbekkdalen.
• We will have a dedicated presentation meeting of various possible thesis topics in the beginning of October. You might also make direct appointments with the contact persons (see their contact e.mails) for further meetings.
• Possibility for part time work engagement during the thesis work ‐ related to thesis subject and relevant projects at SINTEF
• Possibility for future employment as research scientist (working with international development around the latest technologies) and/or PhD studies – and interesting place to start your career!
Technology for a better society
Part time job at SINTEF while doing the thesis?
• Some of the thesis topics are related to projects at SINTEF where it also is possible to have a part time job working on project activitieswith relevance for the thesis.
• Many of the researchers working at SINTEF have been recruitedbased on the master thesis work they have done at SINTEF.
• Many of the researchers employed after having done the master thesis at SINTEF ‐ continue later with PhD work or use their acquiredcompetence in further industrial work or consulting – and go intostartup companies or established companies based on their acquiredcompetence.
