Survivor Outreach Services
“Centralized, short-term and long-term case-management procedures for
casualty assistance by each military department, including rapid access by
survivors of military decedents and casualty assistance officers to expert case
managers and counselors.”
Why Survivor Outreach Services?
The Army’s answer to the FY 2006 NDAA
Translation: Each of the military services must provide dedicated,
coordinated long term support to surviving Family members. Support includes
assistance with emotional, logistical, and benefits concerns.
