LONG TERM CARE FACILITIESSurveys • 126 (88% of the state-licensed NCI) Infection control surveys completed • 16 additional surveys scheduled for the remainder of the week. • We are targeted to be 100% by June 9th.
Testing • By the end of the day today, specimen collection will be completed at 71 facilities, • 15 facilities are coordinating their own testing • A total of 8227 staff and residents have been tested so far • Testing is scheduled to be completed for all facilities by June 11

CORRECTIONSSerology Testing • U of A serology testing is available for staff and contractors that want to get tested
immediately • Contract signed with SonoraQuest Labs to complete onsite specimen collection and

Yuma Diagnostic Testing • All staff being tested at the facility, ADHS provided testing supplies
Infection Control Surveys • Infection Control Assessment and Response (ICAR) Surveys completed for all State
Prison Complexes • Onsite follow up planned for all facilities beginning next week through the month of
June

STATEWIDE TRENDS• As we’ve expected, there is an increase in the number of cases COVID-19 and in
hospital metrics. • Increased testing • Slowly phased in reopening • More individuals out in the community
• In addition to COVID-19 increases, we are seeing increases in non-COVID-19 hospital use as more people are comfortable seeking care
• Continue to monitor the data to make recommendations

ENSURING HOSPITAL CAPACITY
• The Arizona Surge Line is a free statewide 24/7 call line for hospitals and their providers that optimizes hospital resources by quickly coordinating the transfer, admission, and discharge of patients statewide.
• Assisted hospitals statewide with 583 patients • Facilitated the transfers of over 500 patients to the appropriate level of
care throughout the state • Thankful to our hospital partners who are working together to support the
whole of Arizona’s healthcare system and make this endeavor successful.
