ACCOUNT SETTING RECOMMENDATIONS Once you have accessed the appropriate CrowdHub, you will have the opportunity to set up your personal account settings. We recommend you use the settings described below to maximize the benefits of the system:

1. Locate the greeting with your name in the upper right corner of the window and click once to reveal the menu.

a. Here you can update your Profile & Account Settings.

2. Updating your Profile: a. First Name - Should always match what is listed in your Arise Portal credentials

(example: Arise) b. Last Name - Should always match what is listed in your Arise Portal credentials

(example: Person) c. Email address - Do not change this. d. You are linked through the Arise Portal e. Password - Do not change this. You are

linked through the Arise Portal f. Title - Client Support Professional or your IB

Title g. Company or Organization: you may list the

name of your IB here (example: ABC Services Corp.)

h. Phone - Do not list your phone number. i. Bio - You may enter a brief bio about yourself

as it relates to business. Please do not include personal information in your bio. Bios should be no more than 3 sentences long.

j. Expertise – list the areas that you would be considered an expert in.

k. Interests – enter topics of interest relating to servicing. Get notified when new content gets posted to them.

l. Time Zone – list your specific time zone. m. Upload a picture – you may add a business

appropriate photo to represent yourself. Do NOT use any Arise or Client specific logos used here.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You MUST NOT use an Arise or Client brand (i.e. logo, name, line of business, etc.) in any way throughout your profile.

3. Account Settings Options: a. Email Subscription Settings b. Email Notification Settings

For each of these settings you may choose to turn them ON or OFF. Below is a description for each setting available to you.

Email Subscription Settings:

• Subscribe to Daily Digest – Allows you to receive a daily email summary on activity within CrowdHub. (Recommended)

• Subscribe to Weekly Digest - Allows you to receive a weekly email summary on activity within CrowdHub.

• Subscribe to all new posts – Receive a notification when any new Post is published. • Subscribe to all new questions – Receive a notification when a new question is

asked. • Subscribe to all new series – Receive a notification when any series is published.

Email Notification Settings:

• Notify me when I get a new follower - Receive a notification when you have a new follower in CrowdHub.

• Notify me of activity on contributions I am following - Receive a notification when someone creates an answer or comment on a contribution you are following.

• Notify me when someone I follow posts something new - Receive a notification whenever someone you are following publishes a new post.

HOW TO POST A QUESTION Once you are ready to post a question in CrowdHub, locate the Ask button in the toolbar:

1. Click ASK:

2. Enter your question and add a description if necessary. If your question is lengthy you

may need to use the description field to enter your entire question.

3. Ask member to answer. This is NOT recommended. Leaving this blank will allow any of the Subject Matter Experts to answer the question for you.

4. Add to existing series. This is NOT recommended.

5. Add category. This will allow others to locate this question if they perform a search using it as a keyword or by clicking on the category in the left menu of the homepage.

6. Add Tag will allow others to locate this question if they perform a search using it as a

keyword or by clicking on the tag in the left menu of the homepage.

7. Once you have entered your question and filled in any other information (tag, category, etc.), verify where you are publishing the question to (if you have more than one option), and click Publish.

TYPES OF QUESTIONS THAT WILL NOT BE ADDRESSED IN CROWDHUB CrowdHub can be used to share tips and tricks on improving performance results and the systems needed while providing services on Arise client programs. If you are having technical issues of any kind, you should engage AVA from the Arise Portal Page for assistance or contact Partner Support. Other examples of questions that will not be addressed in CrowdHub:

• Scheduling questions • Technical questions • Available intervals or any questions related to scheduling more intervals • Invoicing questions / Service Revenue questions • Updating your IB information / credentials • Issues with incorrect metrics /reporting in Starmatic • Any questions related to your IB’s SOW • Details regarding your individual CSP or IB Star Ratings

LOCATING CONTENT WITH CATEGORIES AND TAGS Looking for information about a specific topic? You can use the category and/or tag feature to help location the information you are looking for. Follow these steps:

1. On the home page, locate Categories and Tags area on the left side of the screen.

2. Click on the tag or category you wish to search.

USING THE SEARCH FEATURE TO FIND CONTENT You can use the Search feature to locate content based on keyword searches. There is a Search Box located in at the top center of your CrowdHub:

By typing in your keyword you will be able to search CrowdHub.

You can search the entire CrowdHub or narrow your search down to Posts, Questions, Groups or People by clicking the Filter link and checking the box next to what you want to filter your search by.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD CONTENT As a user you have the ability to download content that is posted on CrowdHub. Listed below are the steps to download content: To Download a file:

1. Click the content you would like to download.

2. In the upper left hand corner select the button with a Down Arrow.

3. In the window that appears, choose Open with or Save File and click OK.

If you chose to save the file: Choose the folder on your computer where you want the content stored, verify the file name (or change it) and click Save.

HOW TO FOLLOW / SHARE A POST OR A SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT As a user you can decide to follow a specific post or a Subject Matter Expert. By choosing to follow a specific post, you can get updates when a comment, an answer or additional content has been added to that post. By choosing to follow a specific SME, you can receive updates whenever that person publishes new content to CrowdHub. Follow a Post:

1. Choose the post you would like to follow.

2. Click the Follow Conversation link located in the menu bar at the top of the post.

Share a Post: You can also share a post by clicking the Share icon. This will give you a drop-down menu. Selecting Share with another user will populate a pop-up box that will allow you to enter names or email addresses of users in CrowdHub. They will receive an email advising them to check out the post you have recommended.

Follow a Subject Matter Expert: If you find that there is a SME that adds great content, you can choose to follow that SME.

1. Click the View All Members button on the left side of the CrowdHub window:

2. Find the person on the list and click Follow.

3. The button will change to say Following.

COMMENT ON A QUESTION As a user within CrowdHub, you can add a comment to any question that has been asked. In order to add comments, follow these steps: As a user within CrowdHub, you can add a comment to any question that has been asked. In order to add comments, follow these steps:

1. Click the question or post you want to comment on. 2. Click the Add Comment link.

3. Add your comment to the text box and click the Submit comment button.

FLAGGING CONTENT Are you reading content and find something inappropriate or incorrect in the post? You can request that the post, answer, or comment be reviewed. Follow these steps:

1. Find the Flag for review link on the right side of the window.

2. Enter a reason for flagging the post. (Any review request without a reason will be

ignored.)

3. Click OK.

1. Open the post you like.

2. Click on the Hi-Five button in the menu bar at the top of the post.

GROUPS **CERTIFICATION CROWDHUBS ONLY** If you are a member of a Certification CrowdHub, will need to access your class group. Everything pertaining to your class will be found in the group that is specifically for your class. You will do this by following these steps:

1. Click the group icon (heads in a circle) in the top menu bar.

2. Click your class id in the drop-down menu.

3. You will then see in the top menu that you are in your class group.
