Over several faculties from the Junior and senior college stepped away from their projects on, Saturday, August 10th, 2019, to take part in an event “National librarians day ” on the occasion birth anniversary of the Dr. S. R. Ranganathan of this program is conducted by the library and we arranged a session of Kathakathan of P. L. Deshpande “Chitale Master ” in the library as well as we organized a Book show of the New arrivals and we have good response from that. It was decided in a library committee meeting to show this Katha Kathan in this event Three sessions were arranged for the students, teachers and Nonteaching staff. The Introduction of the program was given by Asst. prof. Priti Kedari and Principal Dr. Bhushan Patil sir addressed students on the occasion of the librarian's day, He shared very encouraging thoughts regarding the book reading, Knowledge gaining and developing the personality by reading with the students. After that, we have shown Katha Kathan to students and they really enjoyed it and they look after the book shows also. The aim behind organizing this program that all non-teaching and other petals of the flower of college who are untouched with the library get some contact with books and enhance their personality. This program is organized by, Asst. Prof. Sheetal Ankushe (Librarian), Asst. Prof. Priti Kedari and Asst. Prof. Ankita Bankar. Mrs. Rekha Bansode (Library Peon)helped to conduct the entire event And all technical arrangements are done by Mr. Virendra Thakur and Mr. Manpreet Sing.
