Area 51 is a remote tract of land in the southwestern portion of southern Nevada in the western United States.

Situated at its center, on the southern shore of Groom Lake, a dry lakebed, is a large military airfield and one of the most secretive places in the world.

The base's primary purpose is to support development and testing of experimental aircraft and weapons systems.

Area 51 is also known by various names like Paradise Ranch, Watertown

Strip, Dreamland, and Groom Lake.

•Area 51 shares a border with the Yucca Flat region of the Nevada Test Site (NTS), the location of 739 of the 928 nuclear tests conducted by the United States Department of Energy at NTS. The Yucca Mountain nuclear storage facility is approximately 40 miles (64 km) southwest of Groom Lake.

•The "Area 51" appears on older maps of the NTS but not on newer ones .

A: Since Area 51 is a secret military base, its true purpose is not completely known. Yet many hypothesis have been introduced and a few are almost definitely true.

Area 51 was originally designed to be a safe place for the president and the rest of the government to stay in during times of war or nuclear threat.

Area 51 was built to withstand a nuclear attack, since it is almost entirely underground.

It is also said that Area 51 is large enough to house the entire U.S. government, meaning it must be a huge underground facility.

It is believed that the place has almost all the tools the government has in Washington, meaning satellite control, radar, communications manipulation, and other features.

Widely accepted also is that Area 51 is a staging ground for the building and testing of ultra-modern aircraft and other technology.

Q: What is the true purpose of Area 51 ?

The security force patrolling the borderlands of the above top secret Groom Dry Lake has become known to the general public as the "Cammo-Dudes" .This is due to the multicolor desert camouflage uniforms that they wear. Keeping a close eye on all visitors to the area, they patrol the perimeter of the base in white Jeep Cherokees. They are usually seen in pairs, and sit on the peaks of nearby hills while they follow anyone spotted near the border.

Everything from surveillance cameras, magnetic trip sensors, and optical sensors can be found guarding the base.

If anyone try to trespass on the military base where Area 51 is located he will be shot dead.

There is no solid proof, but it is believed that at least 3major specific projects are being worked on at Area 51.These are the –

a) Aurora project.

b) Black Manta project.

c) Electrochromatic Technology project.

Technologies And Aircraft Developed At Area 51

Aurora Project

The Aurora spyplane is a project developed at Area 51. The amazing fact about this plane is that it is believed that the plane may be able to go faster than mach 10.

Although this seems to be ridiculous, radar around the country has measured unidentified aircraft that went faster than mach 7, and sonicbooms of unknown aircraft have been heard throughout the country.

The plane accomplishes this by going out of the atmosphere and into space, where there is less friction.

It is believed the plane is piloted, and not manually controlled.

The Black Manta is widely thought to be the successor to the Stealth Fighter.

The Black Manta is a different type of spy plane. Also known as the TR-3A, it may have been that the U.S. used this plane during the Gulf War.

The plane is designed to transmit digital photos of areas.

The plane has over a 3000 mile range and can operate at almost any altitude in the atmosphere.

The U-2 is a single-seat, single-engine and high-altitude aircraft. Long, wide and straight wings give the U-2 glider like characteristics. It is designed to fly at least 15,000 feet higher than any airplane had ever flown and had the best highest-resolution cameras in the world.

Code named Senior Trend and known as the Hopeless Diamond, the F-117 Stealth Fighter was designed in the late seventies. So stealthy, aircrews sometimes find dead bats whose own sonar is so confused by the signal return from the F-117 that they crash into parked craft. The hero of the Gulf war, the Stealth Fighter is still tasked to take out the toughest targets and is only now becoming vulnerable to enemy radar.

The Electrochromatic Technology project is not an aircraft project.

Based on materials that are coated with millions of tiny little cameras and little displays. The cameras take in light information and display what the cameras saw on the other side of the material.

Attempting to make suits to make people semi-invisible and great for spying, and aircraft, to make them stealth in daytime.

Electrochromatic panels as part of innovations relevant to "daytime-stealth" capabilities.

Invisible Fighter

The Vehicle: Stealthy, unmanned combat aerial vehicle.

The Technology: Visual stealth, including active fuselage lighting that blends into background.

Comprise of thousands of tiny sensors that function as video-cameras that take images of background sceneries, transferring them to the other panels on the other side of the aircraft.

Gives the illusion that the aircraft is almost transparent. What the ground observer sees is whatever background images behind (or above) the body of the aircraft that are transposed to the "observer's" side of the body of the aircraft.

A UFO is an ‘unidentified flying object’ that has been identified as a possible or actual alien spacecraft. Such objects include meteors, disintegrating satellites, flocks of birds, aircraft, lights, weather balloons, and just about anything suspicious moving in the sky.

Page 14: Area-51

The first supposed UFO sighting was in 25th June 1947 in Boise, Idaho (400 miles from Area 51 Nevada) . After the first UFO sighting people became paranoid at the thought that someone could be looking down us all the time from space and that other life forms may also be able to reach us.

Aliens are creatures of some other planets.

They are seen often with one piece suits, appearing like diving suits. Bio space suits with millions of molecular machines. The suit is in essence an exoskeleton .

In 1947, an alien aircraft was reported to have crashed somewhere in the New Mexican desert near Roswell. Residents claim to have discovered the scene, witnessing dead and injured alien beings. Military arrived, "covering up" the incident. It is said that scientists have been running tests on the supposed alien aircraft and conducted operations on aliens at AREA-51.

At night, lots of people camp at the famous 'Black Mailbox'. The 'Black Mailbox' is no longer black, as it has been replaced.

The mailbox is located at the intersection between Highway 375 and Mailbox Road. It was replaced by a bullet proof white mailbox because it had been shot at many times, possibly by people under the impression that the mailbox belonged to Area 51 and they would find classified documents inside.

The area around the 'Black Mailbox' is a popular place to stay the night to observe the skies above Area 51.

On July 14th, 2003, the Federal Government admitted the facility's existence, tacitly conceding that the Air Force has an "operating location" near the lake, but does not provide any further information. The base is absent from Federal publications and inquiries to the government regarding the facility are rejected for reasons of national security.
