What is Advocacy?

Advocacy is

“the expression of support for or opposition against a cause, argument or proposal”.

Advocacy may include influencing laws, legislation or attitudes

ZI LAA Biennium Goals 2012-2014

• Work together on strategic issues to advance SOW

• Be a leading advocate on Status of women’s issues

• Enable members, clubs, districts to become more effective advocates

• Increase visibility of actions to end VAW
