About The Author: Elizabeth (Liz) Hilby may not be known by many readers outside of her circle of friends and acquaintances, but she carries a message that touches all hearts because she is known by God. Her relationship with him called and equipped her to write. “I humbly write from experience. My credentials come from God first. He equipped and prepared me to write as I journeyed through life,” says Liz. Part of her journey was 23 years as a Para-educator working with special needs children. That’s ministry. She also worked in Day Care for five years (public and private). Part was ministering in church (37 years) and to friends and strangers (lifelong). Finally, Liz writes from the wisdom she learned as a student of International College of Ministry where she received her degree in Christian Counseling.

Liz’s books are unique in writing style since she counsels and teaches by having a conversation with you, the reader. Most of her books are tools to meditate over as you slowly read to absorb wisdom from the Holy Spirit. It’s a work of the heart to draw you closer to God and equip you for life’s storms. She’s been through a few herself, and candidly shares about her success and failure. Reflective questions or exercises are included to customize each study to fit where you are. Liz is a member of two Writer’s Guilds and also speaks to encourage others in their faith. As a Christian writer, Liz believes if God has something to say, He will give her the necessary faith and confidence through the Holy Spirit to do it.
