Located in the North East region of Italy, San Dona di Piave, the main goal of this project was to design an Off Grid Module that could be easily expanded and easily removed with low environmental impact.

The concept oh the Off Grid module took the form of traditional architecture of barns and farmhouses in the region but in a contemporary way.

As a result of weather, climate and comfort analysis the module was designed with a South orientation, so it will receive maximum solar heat gain from the low-angled sun during the winter. On the other hand, the brise soleil, directly connected to the facade protects the house, receiving minimum solar heating in the dry or hot season making the inside comfortable. The windows are also operable, to provide natural cross ventilation.

Other that were adopted include PV panels to generate electricity, rainwater harvesting, and PV cells to provide hot-water.

The Structure chosen is the UPM Profi, an innovative solution for the environment that combines the best features of wood fibers and plastic polymers, it is 100% recycled and has a long life cycle.

The Other Side Of The RAINBOW

As we know Gaza is in constant conflict, a broken country where teaching and education are a last hope. The other side of the raibow is a project that comes with the hope of a better place, to give this population new perspectives.Part of this is a special school concept that instills in the children self-confidence and independence with the aim of strengthening their sense of identity.

The construction technique used is EARTH walls that works as thermal mass.

Double roof system uses a ventilated air gap between an upper exposed roof and a lower protected roof. Much of the solar gain from the upper leaf is carried away by the air before it can pass to the lower leaf.

Rainwater will be collected on all roof areas and courtyards.

Earth Bags and Straw BalesThis technique provides the thermal mass, a passive strategy that reduce the extremes in temperature experienced inside, making the average internal temperature more moderate year-round and the space more comfortable to live in.The use of heavyweight construction materials with high thermal mass can total heating and cooling energy requirements by up to 25% compared to a home built of lightweight construction materials.

NORTH RODOANEL HIGHWAY AND ITS IMPACTS

We developed a project based on the impact of the construction of the North Part of Rodoanel Mário Covas in the city of Guarulhos, SP with the goal to connect the highways Dutra and Fernão Dias with Bandeirantes, Anhanguera, Castelo Branco, Raposo Tavares and Régis Bittencourt as well as linking the international airport of Guarulhos with Fernão Dias highway.

The official route has not been determined due to the high degree of complexity of urban issues related to segregation of neighborhoods, deforestation in the area of environmental protection of Serra da Cantareira.

Our study of PUI came to create new proposals always seeking to improve the conditions of living together in the contemporary city, making them more integrated into the landscape and affecting as little as possible the population of the areas bordering and the environment.

CREATE SPACE: A PLACE OF MEETING

In order to rescue the concept of the city as a meeting place, a proposed green area was developed which permeats the urban living and creates new solidarities; creating places with the virtue of adding people.

We believe that from the flowchart generated by these living areas, the city may within that created freedom develop the equipment necessary to support and consolidate the area; such as cultural activities, crafts, trade, and service residences, creating a design that provides a better quality of life.

We want a city with interpersonal relationships, so we proposed several outdoor living spaces; green areas that develop between the blocks.

This Dweling complex is a result of this ruge urban planing. The obejtive of this project was to make a vertical building with various typologies of apartments and that can be modified according to the preferences of each owner.The volumes of the buildings creates an internal courtyard, large square as a leisure area freely accessible to both residents and for pedestrians passing by. This area gives quality to teh internal spaces and also creates news solidarities.

All the appartments were design with the bedroons and common areas facing the best orientation. Windows in both facades garantees the natural croos ventilation.SUSTAINABILITY:

The main objective of this exercise was to develop an Industrial Design of a Bench, from the conceptual design to production.

It helped us to familiarize ourselves with the concept of "Building systems." Putting us intouch with the practical approach of the relationship between the system and the built project by not only designing the end product but also the practical aspect.

Here we designed the formwork that can be used again and again reducing the price and time of execution.

Conceptocated in Campinas-SP, Brazil, this complex of

buildings was designed in order to bring new life and new experiences to this neighborhood.

Close to two main Avenues it will attract people for all over the city. My individual Proposal for this area is a Museum of Modern Art.
