Lunar Race Rules - Rovers Nominal Functionality

Physical Constraints Rovers mass shall be less 5000 kg Rovers shall fit into a 6 m cylindrical fairing

Crew Support Must maintain life support for 2 crew

members (O2, CO2, water, temperature, radiation) + Room for 4 Additional Passenger

Ingress/Egress Rover shall provide two points of egress, one

on the side and one on the top of the rover These ports shall be equipped with either

internal airlocks or inflatable external airlocks.

Safety and Risk

Emergency Preparedness 3 levels of emergency

Level 1 – Minor Car Damaged, Minor Personal injury. Go to nearest waypoint.

Level 2 – Major Car Damage. Competition required to pick you up and drop you off at next waypoint.

Level 3 – Major personal injury. Medivac deployed and will transport back to closest base.
